Lecturas Culturales: Gateway Argentina's Educational Events

Thanks to everyone who came to our Tuesday night's 'Lectura' on the recent Argentine Election.
The event was held at Lussuria, a lovely and quaint restaurant on Salguero 2983. Participants enjoyed an informative lecture presented by Julio Villalonga an Argentine political commentator and celebrity and R. Gregory Michener a University of Texas Ph.D candidate.

Both lectures gave a comprehensive explanation of current topics and were able to share some insight into the possible next four years of Cristina Kirchner's Presidency.

"I really enjoyed the interchange about Argentine politics last night and found the two points of view - the Canadian R. Gregory Michener and the Argentine Julio Villalonga, to be an interesting contrast". -Bob (lecture participant)

I enjoyed the lecture, the translation was excellent! I think I learned that hyperinflation may or may not happen, and Argentines generally either like or dislike Cristina, very diplomatic. Honestly, the insight regarding the possibility of 18 years of Kirchners, and the historical overview was also very helpful. I'd like to have a better economic understanding of the 'Crisis,' Do others think that would be an interesting subject to cover in an 'Lecturas Culturas? Thoughts?
